A work in progress is what we discovered when our clients hired us to transform this partially finished basement into an extended entertainment area.

While the fireplace was providing comfort and warmth it was also in desperate need of substance and balance. We designed a custom built-in with detailed cornice moldings and dimmer controlled lighting that beautifully highlights the clients display of cherished mementos collected throughout the years. Closed cabinets on the lower portion of the built-in hides and stores electronics, CDs, DVDs and family movies that are kept close at hand.

Picking up the pace for a more lively evening with friends and relatives, we created an area for guests to sit and have a drink while engaged in light conversations. A mirrored wet bar ads sparkle and beautifully reflects light into the space enhancing a more spacious feeling to the room.

To balance and harmonize the entire area, we designed a second smaller built-in which complements the one above. Deeper storage cabinets easily accommodate awkward sized game boxes, books and treasured family photo albums. Dimmer controlled lighting features a display of unique accessories completing the overall design.
