A desire to maintain the continuity of the French Chateau theme inside and out was the main concern in the design of the entire home. The existing house had to be completely gutted, with the wiring, hvac, and insulation ripped out. The entire main floor was restructured in order to reconfigure a more family-oriented space. Hence, the great room concept where the living room, kitchen, and dining areas were open to each other creating an expansive feel and improved integration. A two-level addition for a larger master suite and family room enables luxurious new spaces, all incorporating the latest technology in distributed audio/video, security, lighting control, as well as the new energy efficient HVAC.
