This renovation was featured on December 1, 2006
This formerly small, inefficient kitchen now gives the impression of being very large, despite occupying almost the exact same footprint. There is no wasted space in this kitchen at all. This newly renovated space features five stainless steel windows, in-cabinet lighting, a built-in coffeemaker, a central vacuum, modern, stainless-steel appliances, a farm-apron sink and a striking, green and black soapstone counter. In addition to modernizing this space, opening up the wall to create a view through the house to the water makes it a real joy in which to cook and entertain guests.
These homeowners were delighted with the functionality, appearance, design and ample storage space provided by their new kitchen.

Kitchen Before
In this long, narrow traditional 1990s home, the dining room remained dark and unused because of the adjacent closed kitchen.

Outdated appliances were certainly in need of an upgrade.
