Sandgate Construction was founded in 1959 and since that time has grown into a recognized and well-respected general contracting firm in the greater Toronto area.

Our Associates comprise a dedicated team of professionals who promote a safe and positive work environment, build valued business relationships, and set an industry standard for quality and profitability. The Owners and Managers of Sandgate are committed to this Mission and support and encourage Associates to do the same.

While the hallmark of Sandgate Construction's early years of success was in the design and building of custom homes, today's business spans residential, institutional, commercial and industrial projects ranging from small renovations to large design build projects for both residential and non residential clients.

Our experience, abilities and reputation in all facets of construction is demonstrated not only by number of repeat clients we have serviced over the years but equally by Sandgate's longstanding membership in The Greater Toronto Home Builders Association (now known as BILD) where Sandgate is certified as a 'Renomark Renovator' and as an invited bidder to the York Region District School Board. Other valuable affiliations include memberships in the Canadian Federation of Independent Business and in the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

One of the principal guiding forces of the company is to provide 'value' to clients – value through innovation, custom design, and high standards.
