we were wondering the cost roughly of removing a tub/shower to just a shower. basically removing the tub and fitting in a glass shower doors and floor. walk in shower from a standard size tub

  The cost really depends on what finishes you pick. The style of tile, faucets and shower head and design of the glass enclosure. The best thing to do is decide what you need and how much and then go to the store and check out pricing.
  A ball park figure would be $3000-$6000. If you can send me the rough dimensions of your shower I would be happy to give you a price for the glass.
