As the years pass by, the homes that were built in the 1950s to accommodate the baby boom start to feel darker and cramped. At least, that's how these Etobicoke, Ontario homeowners felt about their space when they decided make a change. The home had a lot of room, but quartered-off areas made it feel smaller, and the layout was inconvenient for entertaining.

Previously, the outside of the home was simple, but didn’t showcase the homeowners’ love of natural landscaping and a French Country style. The sloped roof closed off the upper level of the home.
