Heritage Home Rehabilitation
April 2008When the owners of this late 19th-century home felt like their space was getting too cramped for their family's needs, they called Bryant Renovations to help them open it up. An underutilized attic and chopped-up main floor were their main concerns. Bryant Renovations' designer suggested removing the walls, while retaining the home's heritage features.
Main Floor Before
The home is approximately 2,500 square feet, but it was difficult to tell from the first impression. The main floor had mostly decorative walls separating the space into a dining room, living room and hallway, making them all seem smaller than necessary.
