Renovating From the Inside Out
Sometimes, a dream home is not the one that lasts forever – it is the home that allows homeowners to change with their needs, wants and even the rest of the neighborhood. Such was the case with this Calgary home, built in 1960 as a 1,300-square-foot bungalow with three bedrooms, but that was taken to a new level by Channel Custom Builders. The company revamped the space to create a 2,100-square-foot home, complete with a basement apartment for older children or house guests, a workout room and a full lounge area. A luxury kitchen befits a couple with a bit more time on their hands, as does the spa-like bathroom that is the epitome of tranquility.
