Low water pressure
QUESTION: Hi, We have low water pressure in our home. It's not bad until two fixtures are running at the same time. It is a 950 sq. ft. home. On the main floor- Bathroom(tub/shower, toilet and sink) and Kitchen(sink). In the basement we have a toilet, laundry tub and washer/dryer and also a tap for the outside of the house. We have a 3/4 line coming to our property line but do not really want to dig up the lawn (and all that good stuff) to complete 3/4 service to inside of house. I am considering increasing the water pressure with a booster pump such as a Grundfos MQ3-35 Smart Booster Pump. 3/4HP, 115V. (locate in laundry room) Do you have any advice to offer as far as pros and cons? Would you recommend something like this? They say this product will raise water pressure 50 psi

ANSWER:
The Grundfos MQ3-35 Smart Booster Pump system will only work if there is low water pressure being supplied from the city water department. I would recommend you call a plumber who has the tools and skill to help get to the core of the problem. There could be other issues causing low water pressure that a plumber could find and then repair.
